Kai revealed, “I've always wanted to grow up to be a beautiful, glamorous, influential woman, just like Marilyn Monroe. I want to be a supermodel. Period. I've been practicing my runway walk in the kitchen for years; my mom can show you all the videos I made her take.” She also spoke openly about her journey with gender identity, suggesting it influenced her aspirations. She has cited fashion trailblazers like Alex Consani, Hunter Schafer, Hari Nef, Richie Shazam, and Colin Jones as key inspirations.
Kai emphasized her admiration for the transgender community within the fashion industry: “I'm always going to look up to the older generation of transgender people, especially in fashion. It's amazing to see a strong and supportive community of us in fashion; it really feels like a doll takeover.”
She is the youngest child of Naomi Watts and actor Liev Schreiber, who were together for over a decade before separating in 2016. Kai also has an older brother, Sasha, who is 18 and recently left for college.
